The troll lol continues. I'm Jim Drastic. I'm Tiffany Drastic. I'm Nick Canson. And today on the dangerous ones, yeah, maybe he's running for president and maybe he looks like a slick politician straight out of casting, but you've got to hand it to him. California Governor Gavin Newsome is shredding not only Donald Trump, but the entire MAGA movement with his viral social posts. And now it seems like all of America is getting involved in the glorious trolling session. It is Gloria. If you missed our episode last week on Newsome's Trump mocking tweet, be sure to go back and watch. Now we've got a fresh set of brutal posts and memes to share with you. Let's get into it. Nice. How much fun is this? The internet is like, "Yes, please. More of this." Like, I have not cackled at my social feed like this in so long. I just just guess from what Newsome and his team are doing, which is brilliant, but also just like the grassroots memes and crap that that's which we'll talk about that are coming up. It's it's great. Absolute [ __ ] posting that is happening right now. It's a chef's kiss. I love it. And I haven't been more proud of a Democrat Yeah. in a long time when it comes to fighting back. Yeah. Meeting him uh beating him at his own game, you know. Yep. Absolutely. It's fantastic. Let's get into some of the posts uh that's been going on since we last convened. Uh here's So again, Gavin Newsome is making posts from the uh ATGV press office account for his governorship in uh California. And by the way, that social media the social media accounts are just blowing up with followers, which is fantastic. Um so I'm going to go ahead and and read uh this one. It's a little long, but many people are saying M Dash back and I agree M Dash that I Gavin C. Newsome, America's favorite governor, deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. Why? Because of the most incredible maps in history of mapping even Columbus uh even Columbus. These maps will uh end the very rigged elections. Make America great again. Mega, three exclamation points. Uh, retake Congress, quote, for the people and save democracy. Nobody else could have done this. M Dash. Certainly not the quote self-proclaimed master dealmaker Donald Taco Trump. Tiny hands. I mean, Jesus. Yeah, it's fantastic. Uh, Tiny Hands who missed the deadline and lost. Sad. I could go on, but you get the point. Yeah, it's it's the energy involved in just reading them is off the charts. That's why these things work. He's an idiot. Trump is an idiot. When he posts on social media, you kind of you just forget. But like again, when somebody like Newsome or anybody else does it, it like it just exposes how [ __ ] stupid, ridiculous it is. And now he's not stump uh stopping with Trump. He's moving on to the vice president. I can't believe I got to say that. Good. JD Vance. What did he say about JD Vance in the post? Okay. Not even JD quote just dance Vance can save Trump from the disastrous maps quote war he has started. Not even his eyeliner lines look as pretty as California quote map lines. He will fail as he always does. sad. And I, the peaceime governor, our nation's favorite, will save America once. My goodness. Fantastic. There's more. It just I We didn't expand it, right? I haven't uh God, I haven't um seen ahead. Yeah. I haven't seen it. I'm just like, "Oh god, this is beautiful." A normal person says it. It's [ __ ] insane. Yeah. Uh let alone the president of the United States, right? Oh my god. And then if you don't know, Donald Trump posted on his [ __ ] uh truth social and he he he did another conf moment. Uh where uh I'm even saying that wrong. Cafe. Anyways, uh and he he uh posted only three I'm sorry, four letters. B L E A Bella. Um and then uh the press office had fun with that. Donald Tiny Hands has written his autobiography this morning. Unfortunately, low IQ, he spelled it wrong. Beta. Soon you will be a fired beta because of my perfect beautiful maps. Thank you for your attention to this matter. GCN. I love it because he's sticking with the thank you for your attention to this matter part, you know. No, it's good. And then one last one. He says because Donald Trump now has like it's it's in his head. It's in his head. It's in his head. So now he's posting on True Social, but he's not doing the whole the all caps thing. Folded like a [ __ ] lawn chair. Oh my god. So Gavin reposts it and says, "Wow, very few all caps. Low energy." You know what I mean? This is what I'm talking about. This is what we need to do. Bring back shame. Bring back shame. Hello. It's working. He's an idiot. He's an idiot. He's an idiot stick. Um, and then uh, America got involved. So, this has been so fun. Like, this is what was having me cackle in my timeline. And I love the Newsome posts and I I laugh every time. But the the grassroots memes that are popping up like cuz everybody's just like, "Fucking finally." Like, finally a Democrat is like waging this war in the needs to be waged. I mean, this is like communications warfare. and he and the mockery is just spot on and everybody's and and plus like that's from a comm's perspective but also from a political perspective what he's doing in California and like meeting the Texas gerrymandering and and promising to do that in California like that's the kind of [ __ ] that we need to be doing right now and everybody's just like I know and and so like the the star is rising like you said like you know he might be a like straight out of central casting politician looking guy and stuff and I know that some people in California are who some people don't like him. I get it. Yeah. Uh but he is meeting the moment. Yeah. In a way that nobody else is. And and anyway, the internet is responding. So, we we should walk through some of these absolutely hilarious. There's a there's a really great creator on Tik Tok and Instagram. Uh she goes by I am legally hype and she's duetting a picture of herself shaking Gavin News Gavin Newsome's hand and she said, "Do you see this photo of me shaking his hand? That's called letting bygones be bygones. Whatever you think about this man has happened. It's now 2025. We're in the fight of our life. Like, yeah, we have to ride with this guy, you know? Yeah. And and last week when uh Newsome gave that press conference and he was, you know, listen to what he's saying. It's a sobering moment. And we'll play a little piece of it right here. Wake up, America. Wake up to what Donald Trump is doing. Here he is once again trying to rig the system. He doesn't believe in the rules. We can't stand back and watch this democracy disappear district by district. We have got to meet fire with fire. We're asking the voters for their consent to do midterm redistricting to level the playing field all across the United States. On November 4th, you have the power to stand up to Trump. Donald Trump, you have poked the bear and we will punch back. This is a serious moment. Wake up. Look, we won't have a democracy if he wins this midterm election. Yeah. Uh we might he might not ever leave office. Let's be honest. They're already militarizing DC. I didn't think about it literally at the time, but now it's become clear to me that one of the reasons for that is maybe it's a lot harder to physically remove him if we have to cuz now there's an army around them. He's already joking with Zalinsky today in the White House where he's asking Zalinsky, you know, what about your elections? And he says, "Oh, we don't have elections during wartime." And then Donald Trump says, "Oh, I can just in three and a half years, I can just if I had a war, we we won't have our elections." He's not [ __ ] kidding, you guys. So, so I don't give a [ __ ] what you think about the [ __ ] memes. They're [ __ ] funny, and we're going to [ __ ] talk about them. Yeah, absolutely. That's exactly right. Let's start with the I one of my favorite right off the bat is the one that was going around where uh it's Gavin Newsome sitting looking down almost like he's praying and above and behind him is Hulk Hogan with a halo with a halo cuz he's dead cuz he's dead. These are Yeah. Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, and Tucker Carlson all got their hands on him and it's reminiscent of the photographs we see of all these people praying for Donald Trump as they put their hands on him and it's [ __ ] hilarious. losing their minds. Are they getting Oh my god, they it went ultra viral this weekend. It was everywhere. Well, and the Newsome press office post reposted it and said, "So nice." So nice. Yeah. And then the the one with the uh the ketchup bottle. Oh my god. Explain that one. Okay, so the ketchup bottle. I didn't even know if people would joke about this, but it is kind of funny because it's [ __ ] funny. It's Gavin Newsome standing up on the stage like what happened when Donald Trump the assassination attempt where he's up on stage with all of his uh I was going to say social security we're we don't have that anymore that's canceled now standing up on stage of the secret service and it's Gavin Newsome with a ketchup bottle and the ketchup's dripping off of his ear because oh my god perfect with the California flag waving the California flag and everyone's laughing. It's it's great. It's the best. What What's one of your favorites? Uh I love Okay, you guys heard me this morning like I I cackled like loud. I I gau over at my desk and you were like what? Cuz I was looking for these memes, right? And there's one of Newsome with a with a M MAGA hat on, but it says make Melania come again. Oh my god, we have a winner, folks. So good. Oh my god. That was so good. The internet, everybody. This is where we are, guys. Like, the internet. Yeah. Listen, man. I love that kind of [ __ ] And then also, there's like all these muscle shots now of Gavin. Oh my god. I holding a kitty, holding a flag, riding a velociraptor. Riding a velociraptor while he's got two Colt 45s. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Um, and then there was this other one, one last one I wanted to share with everybody was kid rock uh kind of dressed up as uh Uncle Sam saying kid rock wants you to support Gavin Newsome. I mean, that's got to drive Kid Rock and those guys like [ __ ] up a wall. You know what I mean? Good. And I'm telling you what, uh, America, if you think this isn't necessary, you're wrong. We need to be doing this stuff. if we need to. Listen, that's not to say that there isn't extremely important issues happening right now. But, uh, in this world where eyeballs and are very hard to get and, uh, time, you know, attention is very, very hard to get, you need something to cut through. And listen, for all of Donald Trump's faults and there everything he does is a fault, he knows how to get people's attention. And and and listen up, okay? And you we played the clip earlier of Newsome uh talking and that's so like you said that's sobering. Yeah. Let me tell you what, if he doesn't do all of this [ __ ] and the posts with the all caps and all that and like make a big fuss about it and get stuff super viral on the internet, nobody watches that speech. That's right. That's exactly right. That's exactly right. But because he had lifted his persona in in on the internet, like people watch that. It went viral. That's exactly right. And that's important. So, he's balancing the the sober and the funny and tough effective. This is how we have to do it now. This is just how we have to do it now. That's right.
